Can Bosnian men and American women work?

I started meeting a lot of Bosnian men working at a Bosnian owned bar, I have interest in one. I'm just worried I've heard a lot about them, and I'm independent and not sure if the guy i'm into is like a lot of the other Bosnians I've met in that a lot of the ones in the bar are married with kids and trying to get something on the side. Any one have any insight?
