How can I email a music video?

I'm trying to transfer files from my old computer (runs on Windows 98) to my laptop (Windows 7) by emailing everything to myself since the USB drive isn't working and my laptop doesn't have a floppy drive. Everything has been working so far (Microsoft office files and mp3 files) but it won't let me attach a music video in the email because the file is too big. I converted it to a zip file and it still says it's too big. I'm trying to send it in a separate email on its own but that doesn't help. What can I do?
